We one summer had an intern who wore flip flops despite being told they were inappropriate attire. She wore them to court--everywhere. Drove the attorney who was mentoring her nuts. The Monday after her last day, all the women in our office came in wearing flip flops, with that smacking noise he hates. After he figured it out, he remarked "Y all B**&hes". BTW, for that and other reasons this intern is the ONLY intern we have had who I will not give a reference to (actually I did give one, negative one. Then we agreed if she didn't list us as a recommenation I wouldn't give one---that looks reallllly bad, folks).
