Just a short post to add to the comment stream from ap's tennis write-up because I think everyone should see the latest cover of Ebony. Serena is bangin'.
I am a huge huge fan of Serena (even rooted for her against Venus when they first met in the US Open final in 2001), but I also wish she'd maybe get a new coach. She is coached by her mom and I think it's starting to show. Her raw talent got her by in her early career but as she gets older, it seems like she needs to work on some fundamentals. I get my heart broken every time I watch her these days - she sort of flails around and looks frustrated, disappointed, and negative most of the match.

We refer to this space as our long run because on the Oberlin College Track and Field team (where we met), the Sunday long run was our method of catching up on the week's happenings, discussing current events, and laughing at really ridiculous things no one else found funny.
